Bioengineering to Baile!
Here in Cuenca, instead of being a bionengineering researcher and product manager, I am known simply as the local salsa dance instructor. Other people are throwing their degrees out the window in bold and awesome ways. I met a Yale-educated and published NHF scientist who lives out in the boonies of Ecuador raising cows. I know incidentally, another scientist who wants to move to Ecuador and start a bicycle touring company. I met a couchsurfer who was a former electrical engineer, now importing LED bicycle lights from China, in a 4-hour-work week inspired lifestyle.
